Company closed. Whos is reaponsible for gratuity?

Good day.

Can anyone help me?

I transfered to a new company, but my old company told me that they dont have money to pay me my last salary and gratuity. They advised me to go to court. Im currently having my hearings. But as of yester i found out that the old company closed down.

My question is.. Who will now be responsible for the late salary and gratuity?

That's true but even after you win your court case (2 years plus) you will need another 2 years to maybe collect your money. !!!

The Sponsor is responsible.. He should pay up , but he/she might claim to be having cash flow probles etc..

Contact your embassy in the first instance for advice
