jobs in independent schools
Hi, i would really appreciate any advice and help on the following:
Me and my husband are british muslims living in the uk looking to move to qatar. we are quite practising and strict on our purdah.
we want to teach in schools. but not an international school. we want to teach in an independent school which is fully segregated. I would not like to teach with men. and my husband would not want to teach in a school where there are female teachers.
also we would like a school in which there is a strong islamic ethos. we would prefer teaching in primary schools. or a nursery rather than high school.
could anyone recommend any schools? and what is the procedure for applying for a job at an independant school. because all the ads and vacancies i have come across on many websites are for international schools.
also what benefits do independent schools give? would accommodation be included.
Thanks for the reply furry
will check sharjah out.
is doha bigger or sharjah?
i was under the impression that the government funded independent schools in qatar were segregated ? could anybody please shed some light.
Don't know any place like that in qatar. But ISCS in Sharjah - exactly what you are looking for. I know because I had a job offer from them. Check if they have vacancies. Tc.
