Ooredoo volunteers’ visit warms the hearts of elderly
As part of its Ramadan campaign #CloserConnection, volunteers from Ooredoo visited the Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care (Ihsan), to enjoy Iftar with patients who are supported by the Foundation.
Ooredoo’s delegation was received by a group of employees and patients from the Foundation.
Ooredoo volunteers who spent time with some of the residents, aimed to learn more about their lives as well as share an Iftar meal.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, director Community & Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “The Qatar Foundation for Elderly Care is a subject close to everyone’s hearts in this time of reflection. These people helped shape our country, and now thanks to Ihsan they’re receiving the greatest quality of care and support.
“We’re proud to break our fast with the staff and patients, and ask you all to support this important work.”
After breaking their fast together, Ooredoo’s delegation presented gifts to the elderly people at the Foundation and congratulated the organisation for their work in Qatar.
The visit was part of a series of community and charity activities by Ooredoo this Ramadan at various events and locations around the country.
