Contract notice

gents, one of my friends have an open ended contract and was just given a one month notice this morning without any explanation in writing or verbally. Is this legal???

whatever you say or do will never get your friends job back, so dont even try. just ask him/her to move on, sorry but the truth does hurt sometimes.
