Hello Gentlemen
Lastday at Najma i was in a traffic line and a land cruiser on reverse hit on my corolla right hand side back door. He said he is busy(One egyptian) and can't come to the police station and given his number, moreover i dont have a camera phone to take the picture. He agreed its his mistake.
He said he will come to police station this day evening. But not picking the phone. What to do. I have only car number and his mob number? Shall i go to police station again as i went y'day to the station. BUt the police man said come with the other party. And they wont listen anything..

No need to go to Capital Police. Just go to traffic department.
You can go to the traffic department at Old Airport since its less busy and chances are they will hear you more. Take some one who speaks arabic with you and explain that you have been trying to call this person for a couple of days and he is not responding.
You are lucky that he hit you from back so it would be his fault. So picture proof is not really required. All you need to do is to explain them that other party is not willing to come.
This other party, if it was a land cruiser, might send his driver on may be some other car etc. But dont bother, let him send anyone and have your police report ready so you can have your card repaired using his insurance company and by paying nothing.
go to police station with someone who speaks Arabic problem will be solved for sure....
Queen, If he has accepted his mistake then there is nothing left to do for that gentleman. Plus he spoke the truth that he was in hurry ............ Follow up with the police for future course of action ............... If possible forgive the gentleman ..... he did not do it purposely ...........
Go to capital police,im sure they'll help you, as you knew it many places cctv installed.
Itz good you have noted the car number and phone number. I went through the same situation but lucky had a photo for as an evidence. What you can do is report the matter to to the police station saying he is not answering the call. try to make a call in front of them. Max to max they will hand over the case to patrol police all over Qatar and try to catch him. Don;t expect any quick results, it may take weeks, In my case, al faza caught that driver after 3 weeks. I nearly lost hope but thank god and that rascal was fine with Qr. 5000 hit and run violation.and buy a cheap camera mobile.
The place where i work , smart phone/camera phone not allowed...that made me in trouble..
There is nothing much you can do. Go to the police station, file an accident report and wait...
The police will try to contact him ...
All you can do is give the phone number to the police.
