Qatar’s banks and money exchangers closed on March 6

Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has announced that Sunday, March 6 will be an official holiday for all banks and financial institutions under its supervision. Work will resume on Monday, March 7.

Gulf Times reports that according to a press statement issued by the QCB on Monday, banks, exchange houses, as well as investment and financial companies will be closed to the public on March 6, in accordance with the Council of Ministers' Decision No. (33) of 2009.
