Hi Friends,

Yesterday I went to one travel aganecy for taking the tourist visa for my daughter and wife. They inform me that now Imigration allwoing only 28 days stay(From arrival date to 28 days) in Qatar instead of 30 days. Is it true? They inform me that if they stay more than 28 days, then imigration will ask for kurrooj/exit permit from the sponsor. Anybody knows about this. Please advise. Because i want to take return ticket for them.

Rules keep changing now and then.

If the Travel Agent said Tourist Visa:

1) 28 Days - exit permit not required so let them stay if you

don't want to pay exit charges.

2) 30 Days - exit permit required then you have to pay

QAR.10. per passport for exit permit charges.

3) Return Ticket Required

4) If the Travel Agency will sponsor them, they will

arrange exit permit for them, you have to pay to them.

5) If you sponsor your family, yourself can pay QAR.10.

per passport at Immigration main or at Old Airport.

6) If you need further Clarifications go to Immigration check

yourself, so that you cannot blame others if who is

telling the information given is wrong.

What is the big difference between 28 & 30 days ............. no need to change your plans ......... remain cool .............. if the Exit Permit is required you can give it your self .......... everything is fine ........ let them come & stay as per your original plans ...............
