waiting for work visa

hello to all,
I was selected as employee last year during the interview. I was told to wait for the letter offer for me to sign. however, when i followed up the employer, they mentioned that they are having difficulty in getting female visa. Is it really difficult to get female visa in qatar? and also, is the letter offer signed by employee not necessary in securing visa?

Perhaps they inquired from the ministry and were told that females visa for your nationality or work type were not available.

An offer letter has no meaning - the key document is the contract... even then , it is not applicable till you're in the country

hello mm, thanks for your reply.

one more question, do we need to sign the letter offer first before they can apply for the visa or they can send us letter offer and visa at the same time?

Moch, , Believe me what you heard is true , there are many candidates like you who are waiting for their turn & chance to get here & start work. There are certain rules & restrictions on the employers which they need to follow. But , don't worry, you need to be patient ...... be hopeful & pray hard ........... you may take a temporary job for the mean time if you like .......... wish you joys ..................
