Brother Javed,

The problem is not of those who are born in the first quarter of the year, the problem is for those who are born in the last quarter of the year.

I was so frustrated by the admission procedure this time I can't tell you. The school management makes you run from door to door.

Finally, I think people should get their babies delivered considering the school admission dates.

I have a similar problem, My Son was born on December 2011. Last year, when approached an Indian school for his admission. However, they denied admission on the grounds of underage, saying he is only 3 years and as a rule of Supreme Education Council they cannot admit him in KG1. This year they are saying he is over age. Furthermore, the school will admit him only in KG 2 subject to passing KG1 exams.

Now the question is, how can a 4 year old kid, who doesn’t know how to hold a pencil, can learn to read and write the syllabus of whole year within one or two months time?

I would request all the parents to with similar problem to approach Supreme Education Council for this matter, I hope they will issue some circular in the best interest of parents.
