Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre starts to charge for parking
Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), which opened recently for business, has started charging for parking, the management announced.
The parking fee is QR5 for the first two hours, followed by QR5 per hour for the next three hours and QR 10 per hour thereafter to a maximum of QR150 for short-term parking. Lost tickets will cost QR150.
DECC, which has a total of 2,800 parking spaces, is also offering a number of parking spaces that can be rented by individuals, corporates and local government departments on a monthly or long-term basis.
The availability of such parking spaces is limited and will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.
“As a paid-for service we are now able to provide a far more enhanced and consistent service with round-the-clocksecurity, a climate-controlled environment, as well as a convenient and cost-effective parking solution for everyone,” the DECC management added. [Gulf Times]
For three hours yes, but to use this parking on daily basis(during working hours every day) ... 1200 is too much
10QR for three hours is not bad...
Good business..
1200 QAR per month ... to expensive.
