Some stay-at-home jobs to look out for

A common drawback of moving to a new country would always be the lack of known faces or places around us.

This although might not be an issue for the working ones, when it comes to the house wives or stay at home moms, this could in no time lead to boredom.

Hence, here are some “working from home” ideas that you might find useful-

1- Tutoring- if you’re good in your lessons and handy with children, you can always organize some tuition classes right from the comforts of your home. 

2- Freelancing- Do you have strong writing skills? Then you could even freelance for a publication. 

3- Blogging- a very trendy past time, you could make the whole world read about what you think and write. A very interesting blog can make you well known too. 

4- Turn your hobby into a career- Are you a good cook? You could start selling your own sweets, cakes and delicacies. Are you good as a Henna artist? Especially in a country like Qatar with different nationalities of people living together, henna artist’s job can fetch you some big bucks. 

5- Virtual Assistant- you don’t have to go beyond your house now to work as an assistant. 

6- Document translator- If you’re bilingual, and especially good in Arabic, you could land with the translating job of your dreams right from your home. 

7- Mystery Shopper- A job where you have to try different products or visit stores and rate them 

8- Party planner- do you have strong planning and organizing skills? Then party planning would be just the thing for you!

9- Web developer- If you’re good in your computer skills then, web developing could be your cup of tea. 

10-Day care provider- If you love kids then you could even mind some children to kill your time and to earn some extra money.
