Banana Island Resort launches the largest pink ribbon in Qatar in support of breast cancer global awareness
October being the breast cancer global awareness month, many campaigns have been held by various organizations in Qatar.
In this list, the Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara displayed the largest pink ribbon in Qatar on the hotel’s helipad with the length of 110 meters.
This step taken by this luxury hotel depicts its commitment towards educating the public about breast cancer and also being in support of the breast cancer awareness month.
In order to commemorate this event, the resort invited local media members and their families, along with team members and in-house guests.
The invitees also helped in moving the ribbon to the new sea-shore location from the helipad.
The island's management also organized a host of fun activities to entertain the assembled guests including recreational games for children on the beach, face painting and other events that made for a fun afternoon.
Other key features launched to celebrate the special event include a pink buggy driving around the island, rose petals in the shape of the ribbon on the beds for the turn down service, pink themed dishes at the various dining outlets and pink ribbons for staff and associates team members.
Also, guests visiting the resort can take part in a social media competition by uploading a picture of the pink ribbon using the hashtag #pinkdoha on the social media platforms of the resort-
