MathAlive! at QU, starting tomorrow, promises an educational experience for your child
Does your child lack interest in the subject of Mathematics? Does he/she get cranky solving problems or cases?
Qatar brings to you a solution that could get your child’s interest back to the subject.
The first MathAlive! Exhibit is set to be launched in a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Qatar University (QU) tomorrow.
The exhibition is a partnership among QU’s Colleges of Engineering, Arts & Sciences and Education & Raytheon Company.
Most of the time, kids feel that Maths is not very useful to them in daily life and hence, tend not to take interest in the subject.
But, the MathAlive! Exhibit shall proof this rationale wrong by bringing to life the real maths behind video games, sports, fashion, music, robotics and more.
They also claim to create interactive and immersive experiences that illustrate the maths at work in each, whether in design, application or use.
The exhibition will also feature activities, games, seminars, workshops as well as a new activity specially designed for Qatari youth.
The visiting hours of the exhibition:
October 1 - 10am to 12pm
October 3 - 4pm to 8pm
October 4 and 5 - 8.30am to 12pm
October 6,7 and 8 - 8.30am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm
