Project Visa Unable to change - Request your advice
Dear All,
Here is my humble request with you all for your kind advice.
I have got an offer from new company they need the visa change. Accordingly I have obtained the all the documents from old and new sponser along with NOC and submitted for transfer of visa in emigration. They have rejected the file and said it has been blocked as project visa which cannot be transferred. So I have approached Labour Dept and submitted for unblocking. Now tho they have send the mobile SMS saying " your file has been rejected". Now I am in serious problem and experts are saying you have to go back to your home country and come with new visa. But this is impossible as there is lack of visa problem in new sponser.
So please advice me anything else can be done in this regard.

I submitted all documents to labour department to open my visa on last Sunday . Actuallty after two days message will come to my mobile . Now one week completed . I did not get any message . My collegue also submitted all documents to open his visa and the same day he got SMS that his visa is unblocked . But I did not any message. We are working in same company . Then how i will check my application status . Again I have to go labour to re submit all these documents . Please help me .

Hi...no need to worry....it can be transferred. If it is rejected for first times, u can try one more times. ..initially they wont agree...but u convence dem to honor d documents. ...attach CID certificate ( local PCC) from CID office which is der in SANAYYA next to safari roundabout. ..it may take 2-3 days den u attest from ministry (c ring road) den submit....insha allah work out. ..pray for Allah. ..

I am engineer profession, working in qatar, i got another offer and company is giving me noc for change but my visa was project visa and its block from labor, kindly advise if I can remove it easily
Request NOC from new sponsor that company not having any objection to join in our company. Also mention in NOC your offered salary, position, Qatar ID & Name.
Then Submit with original PCC and all copy of visa transfer documents to CID Clearance office at Salwa road for approval. It will take one week process and 10QR charge.
After receiving CID certificate take stamp from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Then submit with Xerox copy of visa transfer documents to labor department for approval.

As far as Im aware, Project Visas as specific and for the duration of the project.
That's really pathetic. I've never even heard of it. I only know that Project Visa can not be used for profession change, but I'm not aware that project visa can also not be transferred to new sponsor. Did your present sponsor bring you from your home country or you were recruited in Qatar? If your current sponsor hired you from Qatar, then you can approach some Mandub, and they will help you to file the application, and hopefully it can be accepted.
