A lady working in a beauty salon in Kuwait was stabbed by her employer when she asked for her delayed salary.
The story went viral on social media where many felt sorry for the worker and called on the Kuwaiti authorities to punish the employer.
Salama, a Kuwaiti girl, said that after a month of work, all employees wait to get their salaries, and it is a terrible thing to hold a worker’s salary no matter whatever the reason was.
Khalid, another Kuwaiti man, said details of the case showed that there was an argument between the salon owner and the worker, but no matter what the reason was, the owner must have control himself and not stabbed her.
“Luckily she did not die otherwise he would have paid for this crime heavily.”
Others on social media blamed the worker, and said that most of the private business owners face problems with these workers.
Marwa, a Kuwaiti girl, said majority of these workers come here with no experience. The owner of the salon trains them and spends hefty money on them, then they ask for salary increase, she said.
“It is difficult situation; I don’t blame the owner of the salon as she must have been very rude to him and that is why he stabbed her.”

Come on Molten Metal, why people from Asia come to Gulf and work 12 hrs a day/6 days a week? for money, to support their families, they have monthly bank bills back home, they need to pay on time (school tuition, parents house mortgage, college fee, electricity...) and you are saying be a model worker...i don't get...maybe the owner should be more considerate and pay on time

We must respect the status & regard our seniors & management ........... work & salry comes 30 days later ..................... One has to be smart to choose the favourable circumstances while saying even a good morning to the top officials .....................
Delaying salary payment should also lead to immediate arrest. Period.
Stabbing a person leads to immediate arrest, period.
Nizar: we didn't assume anything. It's the people on social media. What is interesting is that many blame the worker and treat her a the criminal ..
Whatever the reason, it could have been resolved peacefully. Nobody can JUSTIFY any ACTIONS by doing unhumane acts like Killng people or STABBING someone because you have a heated argument.

In any country which has a system of laws and is governed by them, a person who has stabbed another person would get arrested, locked up and tried irrespective of his nationality, race, religion or status. If this was not done, then one can deduce that Kuwait may be having two system of laws -- one for the Kuwaitis, and the other for the expats.
NOPE. Why put the blame on the worker.. come on, people deserve raise. and it's said that she was just asking for her delayed salary.
For whatever the reason is, one should not hurt or take another persons life.
