How to get a Refund of my tuition fees paid in advance.

Dear All,
I was paid QAR XXXX to one leading Educational Institution for my CMA educations on Dec 2014, and till date am not attended any classes, Hence i was asked them for a refund. Initially they agreed for the refund and now they are playing around and saying there is no provisions to return the fees. I have the Proof of message that they agreed for the refund
Is any one please advise the way forward...... It is a leading Institution and that is the case am not mentioning their name now.
Write to them. Explain that they had committed to the refund and if they don't honour their commitment, then you will have to take legal action
There are two parts to your problem as I understood it. First, if you registered, paid the fee, and then decided not to attend the classes, the institute may not agree to return you the fee. If they are considerate, they may return just a portion of the amount you paid. However, in the other case where the institute took the fee from you and did not conduct the classes, then you do have a right to make a claim on them. Having said that, the only option in the latter case if they refuse to refund you the amount is to take them to court but the process is very time consuming and it may also take several months before you get a verdict.
