A few steps to follow on the Eid Day

Eid Al-Adha is dawning upon us. The stores and malls are getting busier by day with all the shoppers. The airport is getting all set to welcome in those who will be flying to Qatar for Eid.

Almost everyone’s face is illuminated with that “Yes!! A few days off from work” look of euphoria. By now, even the slowest Jim would know that the 24th Insha allah would be the day of Eid.

Eid is a very special day for all the muslims out there. It’s a day that stands for many things in the religion and a day that should be welcomed with open hands.

However, the following are a few things that one should practice during Eid. And the best time to put them into action would, of course be on the day of Eid-Al-Adha.

1-Yes, the morning of Eid can turn out to be extremely busy. Your clothes look crumpled, the shower in your bathroom decides to play dead and god!!, your child is in a very grumpy mood!

But don’t let all these make you late for the Eid prayers! Be at the Masjid well before the time of prayers and try to make some acquaintance.

2- This goes without saying but dress in your best clothes and maintain cleanliness even in the places that you visit.

3- The day of Eid isn’t the day for the sulks and old enmity. Smile wide, greet all and forgive all the petty mishaps. Talk to those whom you’ve never liked.

Eid is a day for positive vibes and happiness.

4- Make your dearest ones happy by surprising them with a gift.

5- Visit your friends and relatives and wish them a happy Eid! If you can, invite everyone over for a meal and spend some quality time with them.

6- Most importantly, get off from that bed or the couch!! Instead, take part in the events organized by the QTA.

What else do you think should make this list?
