Visa requirements for travel to Oman
Hi,
Does a Sri Lankan passport holder (spouse) with RP+Visa for Qatar require a visa to enter Oman? Or does a valid Visa for Qatar allow entry to Oman as it is part of the GCC?
I believe this is possible but looking for confirmation before purchasing flight tickets for a short trip to Muscat for Eid in September.
Thanks.
Immigration authorities stamp a 28 days visa on arrival in my case..
Cost is Omani rial 5 i.e 50 QR
You must possess a round trip or onward ticket.
Hotel booking or local transport booking is not required.
I travel almost every month to oman, I am eligible for visa on arrival.
Nationality isn't a problem. What's your profession ?
Last time I went to Oman is like 4 years ago so things may have changed. However, at that time I just need to show them the GCC visa and pay the fee. No other document required.
Thank you JonSnow the link is quite useful.
Do you know if this application needs to be submitted prior to travel or is it something that can be filled on arrival at the Muscat Airport? The website does not appear to be too clear on this.
Check it here http://www.rop.gov.om/english/dg_pr_visas_agcc.asp
If the wife is under husband's sponsorship most likely both of you need to travel together. Husband's GCC visa should be in the list of allowed professions.
To enter any GCC country you need visa except if you are a GCC national.
Better check with travel agent while booking your ticket..
