Bad tactics of taxi drivers continue even during Ramadan

On one hand, the Private Taxis continue to grown and on the other hand, there seem to be no stopping for Taxi Drivers from looting the passengers in broad daylight, even during the month Ramadan. The Taxi driver was a Bangladeshi national possibly driving a brand new Nissan car of Al Ijrah Taxi (no. 5258). When asked when he put on the night meter during daytime, he did not reply. I ended up paying more than the usual rate. Attached is a picture I took with my mobile, as an evidence to prove this. When will the authorities take action against such bad drivers and those illegal sale of chewy Tobaco - Naswar on Al Wifaq street.

Most serious point is ''When asked when he put on the night meter during daytime, he did not reply. '' ........ Sat, 11.07.2015, 10.31 hrs

@acchabachha.. Sorry, if their names were written on their foreheads or had they given me their names on a silver platter, then I would not have hesitated to include their names here in the post. If the authorities wanted to track the driver, they can track it using the license plate and the indication of the nationality. One more thing, had I wanted to really humiliate, I even had a picture of the driver himself. It is up to authorities (if they are reading this) investigate, based on the leads given. if the authorities wanted to catch the sweka selling guy, they know where to go and fish out all the *&*#$@# cockroaches out, because this is not one bad apple that I am talking of, but the many many many bad apples out there, who take people like me for granted.

You have two problems as of now. First you have met bad taxi drivers who you say are Bangladeshis and second you have problems with Pakistanis selling Neswar. Do you have any problems with Filipinos, Nepalis, Sri Lankans or other nationalities other than your own. You should let us know these as well. It would be interesting reading!

If these taxi drivers are well paid they won't cheat.Am not supporting what they do but the root cause stems from what they earn as a salary. Before God made the fishes HE had created the seas to accommodate them.Nothing will happen to companies even workers minimum wages stands at 2500QR

So you know now there is a huge network of people who know where and how to obtain the illegal stuff when they want it, and yet the authorities don't do any thing about it.Talk about Hypocrisy.

I tried in the past and they just ignore the phone calls or simply transfer them to another line where nobody picks up. Its a waste of my money and time. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I hope the authorities will take notice of it.. I am too scared to post any pictures of those Pakistani guys selling the Naswar , for fear of my security and well-being if I post them. It is a huge business that runs all through the night now, possibly involving many influential guys in it, and they may not hesitate to rub me off if required
