As a fireman, I am a member of emergency services such as:

• controlling and putting out fires
• dealing with bomb alerts
• rescuing victims from burning buildings, accident sites and other dangerous situations
• managing chemical or hazardous substance spills.

• inspecting buildings to make sure that they meet fire safety regulations
• advising construction professionals on fire safety measures before and during the construction of buildings.

Have routine station duties, such as inspecting, cleaning and maintaining equipment, carrying out practice drills and taking part in training.

Writing detailed reports of incidents, and carrying out management and policy work.

Currently I am an experienced firefighter and fire truck driver operator with 12 years and 11 months in service. Considering the fact that I had been working as a firefighter for many years, I am quite responsive when it comes to performing fire suppression duties. I have the ability to respond to fire alerts immediately and can evaluate situations in terms of both medical needs and fire control requirements. My training in situation appropriate extinguishing agents aides me in managing the source of the fire and I have also been trained in using fire extinguishing equipment appropriately. Moreover, I have full and functional knowledge of managing CPR and First Aid duties and able to serve as a preceptor for paramedic trainees.
