Qatar reduce Ramadan working hours from six to five
The Ramadan working hours in the ministries and government departments during the holy month will be five instead of six, The Peninsula reported.
The working hours will be from 9am until 2pm on all weekdays during the fasting month, the daily said.
Ministry of Labour also imposed summer outdoor working hours as a safety measure for the construction workers starting from June 15 to August 31.
The working hours in the morning session cannot exceed five hours or go beyond 11.30am. In the afternoon session, work cannot start before 3pm.

Govt companies having superior persons thats why 5 hours working , balance in private all are Extra-terrestrials to do more-than 6 hours daily working and no one is monitoring. We are not happy with such discrimination. On top of that they have Saturday complete off and we cant think on it. So private 's companies employees are not happy.
LET ALL THE PEOPLE ENJOY THIS HAPPIEST OCCASION BY WORKING 5 HOURS......WE EXPECT....IN FUTURE.....FOR PRIVATE COMPANIES TOO....
great..
I am just wortied that Ashghal workers will now have to work longer hours :0(
@kanchan786 British sarcasm.
Good!!!
Britexpat - do you work in Ashghal?
May I ask, is this for muslim workers only? In our office, we are working the same hours as normal days. They were just letting the 2 muslims to go after 6 hours of work. Thanks!
It should be the same for every one
It should be the same for every one
