al khaliji announces Qatari appointments in leadership roles
Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) Q.S.C., next generation bank, announced today the appointment of Mr. Hamad Al Kubaisi as Group Chief Human Resources and Administration Officer, responsible for leading Human Resources, Facilities and Procurement functions across al khaliji group and reporting directly to the Group’s Chief Executive Officer. In addition Ms. Rana Ahmad Al Asaad has also been appointed as Head of Personal Banking. In her capacity as Head of Personal Banking, she will be directing and managing al khaliji’s Personal Banking business in line with the Bank’s overall strategy.
Commenting on the new appointments, al khaliji’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Fahad Al Khalifa, said:
“al khaliji aims to create a strongly qualified and professional Qatari workforce to support the Bank’s growth in the banking sector .While we continue to recruit fresh and experienced Qatari talent, we are also supporting and developing our internal human capital. I am confident of our local talent skills and capabilities to lead the evolution and growth of the Bank”.
Appointing Qatari talent in leadership roles comes as part of al khaliji’s commitment to Qatarization and recognition by the bank of the importance for Qatari talent to take on leadership roles in the banking sector.
