Guys if you looking for a rental house beware of this keralite brokers, as i went through some situations which may help you to avoid such.

This broker will approach the owner and ask for the rate and he will add his commission. So the net rent is bigger than the original(Eg: (actual rent + monthly commission) x 12 months= New rent)

There are hundreds of brokers now started real estate, 24 hours they are online with qatar living.

If a genuine person renting a room, within moment they rush to the owner. So actual person miss the opportunity.

Now the government has to take initiatives to prevent such robbers otherwise the middle level people will loss their hard earned money in this robbery.

This is the time to unite to put all them jail

Don't blame the Keralites. It's the governments fault for allowing this to flourish.

I dont understand, for a professionals like us, we struggle for RP. Howcome a non professional, non educated keralite single getting RP from where and how ?. what visa they hold? who allow them to run as a agent and looting others money more than a doctor or engineer ?

These kerala people are everywhere...I think there should be a limit to number of visas to a single community.

Last week one of my friend searching for one some bhk, and saw the ad in QL , called the owner, he was a keralite too, found he already bought so many villa and reselling it for huge prices. the same villa people already staying had a margin of 2000 QR difference.

there are people now looking to make out houses as bungalows to make thousands..

It would be easy to make a law stating that the one who requires a service has to pay for the service. The brokers serve the owner not the tenant. Unfortunately all owners are Qataris. That's why there will never be such a law.

They are flourishing because the laws of the country allow it. They aren't doing anything wrong. Qatar is the culprit.
