Description
For the last 4 years, I have dealt with hydrographic multibeam bathymetric, backscatter, and sidescan sonar data; done seismic interpretation of 2D/3D seismic datasets and shallow high-resolution geophysical datasets from the Barents Sea and western Svalbard fjords using IVS 3D Fledermaus, DMagic, Petrel and ArcGIS softwares (as part of my PhD research and other short term assignments in the E&P companies in Norway). I have a strong G&G background both academically as well as job experience in the petroleum industry in the last few years.I am providing a brief info about my experience below and also attached my CV and certificates herewith for your quick review.
I am trained with various advanced geophysical and geological techniques/workflows in Petrel Geophysics module used in the E&P industry, and subsequently delivered my results to two major operators (Det Norske and ENI Norge), during my employment with Schlumberger in Norway. I have been also developing and test applications like seismic volume attributes in Petrel software. There is more information on my education and professional experience in the attached resume, but the highlights of my activities relevant for the current job application are listed below:
· Reservoir characterization (faults and channels delineation) using seismic volume attributes workflows (Schlumberger, 2014), extracting geobodies using boxprobes and wellprobes for property modeling using Petrel software – of Goliat (for ENI Norge AS) and Ivar Aasen (for Det Norske Oljeselskap ASA).
- · Seismic interpretation of 3D seismic cubes of Bønna and Skrugard (for ENI, in 2011); and of the Hoop fault complex (Wisting discovery) in the Barents Sea (PhD studies, UNIS-Svalbard, 2013).
- · Integrated analysis of various geophysical data-sets to study the influence of tectonic structures and igneous intrusions on traps, fluid migration and seeps.Reservoir characterization and leakage potential of Longyearbyen CO2 aquifer. Datasets used in these studies were multibeam bathymetric and backscatter data, 2D seismic profiles, offshore magnetic data, well data and fieldwork campaigns. (PhD studies, in UNIS-Svalbard, 2011-2013).
- · Offshore geophysical datasets acquisition and terrestrial field trips include structural mapping and stratigraphic logging in Svalbard and Utah. (PhD studies, in UNIS-Svalbard, 2011-2013).
I am a quick-learner and my experience in geophysical coursework and hands-on experiences give me the ability to deal with challenges in hydrocarbon exploration. I have worked successfully within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams as well as individually and have developed strong presentation skills.
Please let me know if you are interested in my profile and willing to give me an opportunity to prove my skills. I will look forward to your kind reply.
