Hello,
Recently I moved to Qatar.I lost my right leg after an accident. But both of my hands and left leg is very healthy. In Qatar can I apply for driving license. Here traffic department will allow to use left leg for driving automatic car.
It is for you to check with the authorities. It is a very difficult question for most people to answer as yours is not a normal case. Also, while you may be having the confidence to manage a vehicle with your left left, the authorities may look at things from a broader perspective such as the safety of others on the roads as cars travel at speed.
But to take license,we have to use driving school cars isn't it?What can I do for that?We can not make any changes for school cars. But I am confident to manage with left leg for driving but authorities will allow It.......
It may be a difficult question for someone at QL to answer. Its better if you approach the authorities directly to get their views. However, as a layman, I cannot understand how you would be able to manage to control the accelerator and brakes of normal cars with you left leg as they are manufactured to be used by the right leg unless you plan to buy a special car to cope for your needs.
