Can I get new job with husband sponsorship without company's NOC?
Dears,
I found many contradicting responses on the matter, can someone please clarify for me the issue.
I am currently employed under company's sponsorship, and I would like to change jobs, but my company is not generally providing NOC.
I considered changing the sponsorship to my husband's, and then taking a a new job.
In that case do I still require NOC from my current company to work for a new co.?
Is there any difference regarding NOC requirement between two scenarios: I resign and get in the country under his sponsorship, VS. changing sponsorship to him while still working, then resign and change jobs ?

Hi mrsbear. Please see my first comment above for your reference. You can come back on family visit or family visa once you get married. You wouldn't need NOC from your previous employer to come back as they will not be your sponsor anymore.
hello ms chameleon,i am.having trouble with my job as well,i am only here for only less thab a month. My options are to accept a lower paying jo i mean way way lower than what i was offered or go home,since me and my boyfriend had plans on getting married already,once married in the philippines can he get me to go back here even without NOC from current employer? Isnt it that i have to wait 2years before i can again enter the country? Please enlighten me coz i am really having trouble with my work now and i dont like the company. thank you in advance.

Chameleon, that's best advice so far:)) atm, I just can't wait to see their backs....too bad most of the people are stuck where they are since employers are abusing NOC system, I'm glad that there are options for married women at least.

Thank you very much Chameleon, that exactly explains the steps I would like to take. I was only worried about no. 4, since I was told that I will still need NOC even if my previous visa was cancelled. These are good news.
I had the same previous experience. What I did was,
1. I resigned and had my visa cancelled.
2. I exited the country and my husband applied a family visit visa so I could come back to Qatar right away (after a week I was back in Doha).
3. While I was on visit visa, my husband applied for a family residence visa for me.
4. When I got my family visa, I was able to work again while under his sponsorship and the new company I am working for got me a labour card (working permit). You only need NOC from your husband to work again.

Once you are under your husband's sponsorship, your company cannot restrict your movement and you can work anywhere you want with an NOC from your husband.
one more thing changing sponsorship to ur husband same processing apply new visa for family ....
if u need transfer your sponsorship to ur husband here u must need NOC...once u under ur husband sponsorship no need anything from ur company bcoz they r not ur sponsor anymore...

My husband will not resign, he is ok with his company, I am the one who wants to resign from my company. I am under my company's sponsorship, and my company is not giving NOC for transfer to another company. I am not under my husband's sponsorship.
If I want to go under his sponsorship, I need NOC from the company, as far as I'm informed, I don't think that will be the problem, since they are providing NOC for transfer to spouse.
Once I am under my husband sponsorship, and I want to change the job - do I still need NOC from my company ?? In that case they are not my sponsors any more, so this rule shouldn't apply....
your question is little bit tricky , let me reply you this way :
1. if ur husband is working under some company and even you want to work in some other company then procedure is ...you get the job then you can transfer your sponsor ship which is under ur husband to the company in which you will be working ...NOC might be required from your husband company !
2. At present ,for changing job from one company to other compulsory requires NOC from sponsor !
3. If your husband resigns and want to come back qatar in other company within less time i mean to avoid 6 month ban after visa cancellation then he can request his company to issue NOC which will permit him to come back qatar any time to join new job under new sponsor.
3. If still all this is confusing then last option is to wait for some time , qatar might declare new law soon according to which NOC system will be completely removed .
