changing passport number in business visa

can someone please tell me how long it takes to change passport number in a business visa? my application was submitted more than a week ago, but shows no progress. Also, can i travel with my old and new passport together? or will it be a problem in immigration if the passport number is different in visa?

misbah i am facing the same problem. i am from kerala, india. i am coming first time to qatar. i have a work business visa and which is on my old passport(changed due to ECR problem). i am confusing because someone told to my father that there will be some issue in immigration at qatar. currently i am in kerala. is it necessary to transfer the visa to new passport number
