Barwa Bank Wins Three Awards at Banker Middle East Product Awards 2014
Doha, Qatar - 1 February 2015 – Barwa Bank, Qatar's fastest growing Shari’ah compliant banking service provider, has been recognised with three accolades at the Banker Middle East Product Awards 2014, for Best Web/Mobile Site, Best Premium Islamic Card and Best Credit Card.
Barwa Bank received the awards from CPI Financial on Sunday, January 18 at the bank’s headquarters. Attending from Barwa Bank were Mr. Khalid AL Subaei, Acting Chief Executive Officer.
This is the seventh awards ceremony held by CPI Financial, publishers of Banker Middle East, to recognise banking products and services that are either exceptionally innovative or have generated excellent financial results and growth in market share. The awards are based on a peer-vote process.

The fee-based credit card has been carefully developed with Islamic financial expertise, to ensure that the product is within the guidelines of Shari’ah finance.
Meanwhile, Barwa Bank has also recently announced the launch of its new state-of-art mobile banking application, as part of its continuous efforts to improve customer experience and service.
The mobile application is designed to provide customers with seamless connectivity anytime, anywhere, and gives them access to their accounts to check balances, view transactions, make credit card phone and utility bill payments and transfer funds instantly at their convenience.
