PHOTOS: What to expect at Qatar Motor Show 2015
I visited the 5th edition of the Qatar Motor Show today at Qatar National Convention Center. It opens to Qatar's general public only tomorrow (Feb 6-10).
Although entry is free for the public, organizers have made it mandatory for visitors to register before going to the venue. (Register here). You cannot enter the exhibition halls unless you register.
After registration you will receive a visitors access token that you may print and bring along with you. If you have smart phone or tablet, you can just download the file to your device and present it at the entrance for barcode scan. Printing is probably safer, but you may choose to go green :)
The exhibition is taking place in halls 7-9. Be prepared to walk a bit starting from the parking lot (unless you can manage to get dropped off right in front).
Once you enter the venue, you will probably fall in love with either one of the sporty Mecedes-Benz on your right or the BMW on your left. Here's a floor plan of the exhibitors to help you plan your visit.
Like every year, Qatar Motor Show organizers have lined up some of the biggest automobile companies in the industry. The focus again is on high-end sporty and luxurious cars.
Below are some photos that I managed to take today. Have a look at some of those beautiful machines.
Look out for the top-speed world record contender (431kmph), Bugatti Veyron...
And in the 'tiny car' category, they have these cute machines...
It can't get smaller than this...
Off-Road Experience (ORE) that specializes in modification for 4x4 cars was around...
The motor show also had some decent motorbikes for the two-wheeler fans...
And a few Harley-Davidson bikes.

But this 1000cc Suzuki GSX-R 1000 stands out because it is the fastest bike at the Qatar Motor Show 2015...
There was also a Commercial Bank booth (Official Sponsor), in case you had any banking issues while checking out these awesome cars...
But the 5th edition of Qatar Motor Show would not and cannot be complete without this...
The Toyota booth is also setting up a Gran Tourismo 6 gaming booth behind for the visitors.
Please note that muscle car enthusiasts will definitely be disappointed at this motor show. Where was Ford, the makers of Mustang, the most iconic muscle car in history?
And Dodge was missing too. I thought Dodge's new Charger and Challenger with the Hellcat engine that produces 707 horsepower was a big deal?
I also felt there was nothing special to look forward to at this year's motor show. Last year they had the Chevy Corvette Stingray and the Lamborghini Aventador in 2013.

I M the guy who is sitting on the Harley-Davidson and believe me , if you think you know about Harley-Davidson and your comment is not professional and proper , I m the Sales Manager of Harley-Davidson Qatar and I know exactly what I m sitting on and I value the brand more than anyone ,,
I m not a Model but if you look at all the Men who modeled Harley Davidson over the internet , they don't express there excitement about the Brand by smiling , even the showroom front window pictures in salwa road shows men sitting on bikes with no smile ,, please be professional in your publishments and don't offend others by your comments ,, and again , I m not a Model to know how to model a bike , I m the sales manager
I didn't go because of the lack cars being displayed like Ford etc.. I hope someone looks hear and gets the public's feedback to make it better show next year.

boring display no dodge, ford or other concept cars and still no redbull show unlike 2 or so years ago :( i missed the drift show :(
