How I can stop a person leaving Qatar who have lend money

How I can stop a person who will not visit Qatar anymore but have lend more money. I do have proof's only like Watsapp messages. Suppose If I insist to get cheque leafs, how far it will be useful. What shall I do in order to get back my money.

if you managed to get a check from this person,, you can go to the bank and get the check bounced,, the directly to the police department,, they will issue a travel ban against him within few days..
