Family Residence Visa Legalities
Good day! Please I need some knowledge about the legalities of having a Family Residence visa. If somebody here can give me a genuine information.
I currently bearing an RP wife sponsor. My question is, can I work to any company or ca I apply to a new job, even if my 2 years bond from my previous employer still not elapse? I was working to one employer before, and I resigned last November 2013 but my wife brought me back here by a Family Residence Visa together with our 2 children. Now we've got some information coming from different personalities that still i need an NOC from my previous employer before I can work again to another company. Can someone tell me if this is legitimate or not? Or is it even stated in the Labor Law of Qatar? Please to those who have knowledge please advise me. Thanks mastmalang. Yes i'm now under my wife sponsorship. I have once read an article before in moi website that If you are under Family Residence Visa you can work to any company as you want but you need to get a Permit to work from moi, if not you are not allow to work then. But it didn't mention like the case of mine that still have 2 year bond in effect if it is applicable or not. That's why I need more information about this.
Hello...I think you are still on your wife's sponsorship under RP. So you are not eligible to work for any company. If you need to work for a company, then you need a work visa from that company. As your 2 year ban is still not completed, so for getting new work visa you need NOC from previous company and submit to new company for new work visa processing.
