Win prizes by participating in an E-survey

Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) is launching an e-survey on how people in Qatar use electricity, water and gas at home, The Peninsula reported.

The ‘How Green Is Your Home?’ e-survey will also enquire about the use of air conditioners, washing machines and television sets. It will be open for four weeks, QGBC said yesterday.

Participants will get the chance to win valuable prizes through a lucky draw.

The survey is intended to better understand personal resource consumption in order to find solutions that will ease energy demand in the country.

The e-survey poses questions, in both Arabic and English, about electricity consumption in food preparation, watching TV and use of other domestic appliances.

Information from the e-survey will be analysed by QGBC’s expert members and volunteers in the hope of identifying practical solutions to ease the country’s demand on vital natural resources.

The Council expects that answers to questions about bathing, showering and washing clothes will provide useful insights into water consumption and help tackle another vital sustainability concern.

Recycling is another important section of the e-survey, and individuals will be asked about experiences and attitudes towards reducing waste and factors that might persuade them to recycle more.

Anyone interested in taking part in QGBC’s study can complete the ‘How Green Is Your Home?’ e-survey.

All entrants who leave a contact address will automatically be entered into a prize draw with the opportunity to win an iPad Mini and other prizes.

I am not interested in the prize but I would like to give my views that may help. How does one participate in this survey?
