Spelling change of baby's name

My son was born in qatar in july 2013. We are from India. We had applied and got the birth certificate and passport on the same month. But now many people has misspelt his name and so iam considering changing the spelling of the name. Kindly advise if anybody has done the same and how to go about it. Help is appreicated.

Thanks for the info. Do u know how much will be the cost and approximately how much time it will take. And do I need to apply for a new indian passport
