Gulf nationals jailed for drug abuse
By Qatar Living •
A Criminal Court has sentenced three Gulf nationals to five years in jail and imposed a fine of QR200,000 on each for possessing narcotic drugs and abuse, local Arabic daily Arrayah reported yesterday.
The court has also given a one-year prison term to a Moroccan woman in the case and fined her QR50,000.
All of them were convicted of possessing and abusing narcotic drugs such as hashish, cocaine and Tramadol, according to Arrayah.
Khalli you 'r wrong in saying so , suppose there's a newspiece that tells that your boss is in the hospital , won't you trust that & leave for the hospital immediately or you 'll just gulp down another mug of coffee ? ........................... Tue, 05.08.2014, 07.05 hrs
i don't read the news for some other reason and don't trust it either, so yeah i'm not a fool...but thanks for being civil anyway.
its a newspaper and this is posted in news :-)
if, might, maybe, probably; conjecture and nothing else :-)
If you read between the lines, they were all "convicted of possessing and abusing narcotic drugs" but if the Gulf nationals got longer sentences they might also have been convicted of additional charges. Maybe they were responsible for importing the drugs or selling them to victims etc. You should have faith that the courts have made the right decision. There is probably a lot about what the Gulf nationals did that the newspaper will be too afraid to print.
zafirah, has to be a reason...don't worry about it...maybe her offense was lesser, like just abusing but not possessing...conjecture though..
what's the reason why the woman has lesser penalty when "All of them were convicted of possessing and abusing narcotic drugs such as hashish, cocaine and Tramadol, according to Arrayah.".... why???
