Dears I have lost my brand new iphone last week...When i called that number it says switch off..Any1 has any idea of tracing the culprit...as Iam very worried n upset???

You should report it to your operator and police by telling them your MANUFACTURER, MODEL, IMEI number, color, some special recognizable details (if any), place and date where it was stolen and some other circumstances that could help them to find or locate your mobile phone.
Friends....I dont remembr whether my find my iphone was switch on or off..I realised jus after 1-2 minute that my phone was missing in my car...(we were on the way to Al sadd)...and came back to the place & it was not thr...We tried calling my number & it was switched off...When im using find my iphone app thru my PC it says...offline...We quickly called ooredoo & suspended my number...also My cell has a passcode..Can the theif still use it???? I have IMEI Number,Bill everythg...But Capitol is closed due to eid holidays...Pls suggest sum advice...
You cant call them culprit, because you are the one who lost it :)
If you have activated FindmyiPhone/iCloud, then you can locate (approximate) and erase all your contents and lock the device, so it would be useless for them. but that's possible only if you have activated this feature.
Or if you have IMEI number of your device, you could lodge a complaint with police, they might be able to trace it for you.

File a police complaint ASAP along with copy of your original bill. They will trace him if he uses the phone anywhere in QATAR.
Someone who keep a strangers stuff without his/her wish is indeed a culprit I believe.
