Hi we are from the uk but our wedding was in the USA and I can't work out how to get my certificate appostiled and then accepted by the embassy. Any help would be great thanks

google ... www. expressauthentication.com ; US compnay. They authenticate degrees, marriage cetificates...etc. It would probably run you about $300. Good Luck
The easiest but also the most expensive way is to hire a company to do all this for your. It could cost 1300QR or more for just one document. I believe the document must be 1.) notarized in the US state where you were married and then 2.) appostiled in the state where you were married and then 3.) appostiled again by the U.S. Department of State. And then it needs 3.) an authentication stamp from the Qatari Embassy in the U.S. responsible for the state where you were married. The final step might be 4.) to have the document stamped by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Doha.
