Indian-Passport renewal Issue

Last month I have applied for renewal of my passport from Indian embassy, I learnt that PP form/police verification is needed for issue me new Passport. Its one month and till now Embassy didnt sent verification request to India(RegionalPassportOffice) Every time i go they give me one or other reasons and they assure me verification request will be in couple of days.

Hi geordewa, for the passport renewal and also change of address for the new passport, you need to show any govt papers like ration card copy in the new address or (in my case) i had SBI Passbook in the new address, which they accepted since SBI is a govt entity. even PAN card is also accepted.
You cannot show your Wife Passport (for change of address). But she can do change of address showing your Passport (address).
Also Passport vailidity will be 10 yrs. I believe you are asking for temperory passport(I dont have knowledge about this). Do you have your name in your wife passport and your wife name in your passport(Marriage certificate is required for this only) and not in renewal. I showed attested marriage certificate to add my wife name in my passport.

@ WAYFARER , CAN YOU GUIDE WHAT ARE THE DOCUMENTS i COULD SHOW FOR CHANGE OF ADDRESS, I HAVE ONLY MY RATION CARD IN INDIA OTHER THAN THAT I GOT NOTHING EXCEPT MY SPOUSE PP IS WITH NEW ADDRESS WHICH I ALSO GOING TO ADD BY SHOWING THE ATTESTED MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE..
OR SIMPLY SHOULD I PROCEED WITHOUT ANY CHANGES FOR 1 YEAR PP AND RENEW IT LATER IN INDIA BY SHOWING BANK STATEMENT AND LETTER, RATION CARD FOR ADDRESS CHANGE PROOF AND SPOUSE ADDED WITH MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
They give temporary renewal for 1 year till police clearance certificate is obtained.
I went to ICC and was routed to Indian embassy, I have my status as adjourned at police verification.
Indian embassy did not send PP verification for to India(RegionalPassportOffice), They give one or other reason.
Is there any agents who can help me out with this.

@anda1234 You are giving strange reasons. I renewed my passport here in Doha. They didnt asked anything. I went to Indian Cultural centre ICC in Abuhamur and gave them the renewal document which i download online, with my photo. i also changed the address by showing address proof. and i got my Passport. They didnt asked me any Police verification form. suggest you to go to ICC and enquire with them.
