Buy movie tickets at Ooredoo Self Service Machines
Movie lovers will not have to face long queues for tickets as Ooredoo and Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company yesterday announced a partnership agreement to enable cinema goers to purchase tickets via the nationwide network of Ooredoo Self Service Machines (SSMs).
“This is an incredible first for Qatar, offering customers flexibility and ease of access when they purchase tickets, ensuring that they can always enjoy latest films at our state-of-the-art theatres,” said Ali I H Al Ishaq, CEO, Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company.
With more than 200 SSMs placed strategically throughout the country, residents can purchase tickets at the airport, Sumra border, drive-through machines on main highways and in popular malls and shopping areas.
When customers use an SSM to buy cinema tickets, the ticket is printed as a redeemable gift voucher valid for three months from the date of purchase and will be valid in any of the selected Qatar Cinema theatres.
Qatar Cinema and Film Distribution Company owns theatres throughout Doha, including Landmark Cinema, The Mall, Royal Plaza and Gulf/Doha Cinema.

When you purchase via SSMs, you should go directly into ticket usher and not to ticket booth, whats the use if your still on the cue to exchange for a valid ticket. #fool
I'll be honest and say no amount of convenience will tempt me to go to the cinema again in Doha. I don't enjoy attempting to watch a movie in a cinema full of people too disrespectful to others to even switch their phone on to silent. After putting up with the sound of people having telephone conversation in the cinema over and over I just gave up and started buying pirate dvds from my local supermarket for 10 riyals.
q-tickets.com much more convenient. You can choose your seats online. Print voucher. Separate queue for you - always empty when i go. worked fantastic last week when i bypassed four long queues.
Let me get this straight. I go to the Ooredoo machine, then I buy a voucher for a movie. Then I go to the cinema, and join the line at the ticket office, and then I redeem my voucher for a movie ticket. How is that more convenient than just going to the cinema and buying a ticket?
what about city center and villageo?
very convenient
