Driving license
Hi, I have been to Qatar for the last 7 years. I have Qatar driving license valid upto 2017. But last year I resigned from my company and cancelled my work visa and went back to my home country. Now I am back to Qatar on family visit visa under my wife's sponsorship. Am I allowed to drive in Qatar with my old valid driving license? Or should I obtain a temporary license? If yes, what is the procedure of getting temp.license? Can anybody advise me?
I don't think you can drive legally with that driving license. because that driving license issued to you based on the old work visa and ID. you can easily get a temporary driving license on your current visa by showing your old valid license...
however please check with traffic department at Madina Khalifa...
Yes you can drive till License Validity----------
yes you can drive with that driving license as long as it does not expire and if it is expire you can go to Main Maroor you will get temp driving license up to your visit visa duration.
i guess as long as your driving license is valid, you can drive a car without any issue but may be any of the member will guide you properly.
