Polar Landscape of Doha's city skyline

The planet is round, so why can't photographs reflect that?

Photographer Stewart Lacey shared this on the QL Flickr group. He calls it Polar Cityscape, West Bay Doha.

"I have seen a few of these polar landscapes so I thought I would give it a try. This is taken from the Corniche, close to the Museum of Islamic art. Hence it captures the West Bay skyline in all its glory and the dhow turned out to be rather well placed."
