HELP - Donate to QRC for Flood Victims in Pakistan
A new wave of floods in Pakistan making its way south into Sindh province along the Indus river, adding to the flooding disaster that has ravaged the country for more than two weeks. Low-lying parts of Sukkur, Larkana and Hyderabad are likely to experience further flooding as well.
Around one-fifth of Pakistan is currently underwater. The official death toll from the disaster has risen to 1,463. The United Nations warned that up to 3.5 million children are at risk of contracting water-borne disease. U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, " In the past, I have witnessed many natural disasters around the world, but nothing like this."
We appeal to everyone to help flood victims in Pakistan. QRC is collecting relief items and cash. Its venue and timings on daily basis are as follow;
Venue for collection: QRC office, near Old Movenpick Hotel (Museum Roundabout - Corniche)
From Sunday to Thursday:
Timings Morning: 09:00 am - 1:30 pm
Timings Evening: 08:30 pm - 10:30 pm
We will also be available to collect donations during weekend i.e. on Friday and Saturday
Timings Evening: 08:30 pm - 10:30 pm

3) Tooth paste/ Tooth brushes
4) Female sanitary pads
5) Diapers/ pampers for minors
6) Washing powder
7) Tarpaulin Plastic Sheets
8) Water Coolers
9) Footwears (All ages)
10) Mosquito nets
11) Blankets
12) Bedsheets
13) Floor matress
We appreciate If anyone of you can talk to Hypermarket/ shopping malls to donate bulk items, would be of great help for the needy people.
Special request to all donors to please donate CASH as much possible since with the CASH QRC can help flood victims by providing food/ shelter/ clothes/ building roads, bridges and houses etc... since these items are very cheap in Pakistan and easily available.
