Helping QAWS
There are plenty of ways to help QAWS that don't require spending money. There are everyday objects that you might be throwing out that could help QAWS and the animals:
- Newspapers
- Towels & Blankets
- Old A/C units (can be sold for scrap)
- Books/Toys/Misc Objects (Can be sold at future events)
We are also always looking for more volunteers to help with:
- dog walking
- cat cuddling
- grooming & bathing
- organising events & running stalls
- taking animals to the Government vets for vaccinations
- fostering
- administration
- school visits & presentations
- home visits & follow ups on adopted animals
Volunteering for QAWS doesn't mean spending hours physically at the farm. Spending an hour a week at home calling up owners and checking how their pets are getting on would help us out tremendously. Organising a coffee morning for friends and collecting donations all adds up and helps us with the running costs. Encouraging a friend to adopt a pet rather then buying one can save an animals life.
Please contact QAWS for more info on how you can help.
