Philippine Food Festival at the Gulf Paradise Hotel in Honor of the 112th Anniversary of Philippine Independence
The Embassy is pleased to inform the Filipino community in Qatar that Gulf Paradise Hotel is organizing a Philippine Food Festival entitled "Flavors from Philippines" from 13 to 19 June 2010 in celebration of the 112'h Anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence:
In this regard, the hotel will be serving authentic Filipino dishes, which will be prepared by Chef Leandro and his team of three other Filipino chefs, at the hotel's AI Thoraya Restaurant. This promo will be in the form of a dinner buffet from 7:00 pm to
11 :00 pm for the special price of only QR60 per person. Children under the age of 12 will get a 50% discount.
The AI Thoraya Restaurant, which is located beside the lobby, will be decorated with a backdrop promoting the Philippines, while the staff will be wearing a uniform especially designed to go along with the ambiance of the event.
The Embassy fully supports this worthwhile endeavor and commends Gulf Paradise Hotel for participating in this year's Independence Day celebrations.
The Filipino community in Qatar is thus encouraged to support Gulf Paradise Hotel's Philippine Food Festival and to partake of the sumptuous food prepared by its Filipino chefs
