DOHA: Locals and other expatriates in Qatar will have a chance to know more about the story behind the celebration of the 111th declaration of Philippine Independence Day through the art interpretations and historical information that will be put on display at the Qube Club lobby in Ramada Hotel on Friday.

Sculptures interpreting the scene of the declaration of Philippine Independence Day which occurred on June 12 1898, the evolution of Philippine flag and other historical background and mementos related to the occasion will be showcased for the first time here.
