Where to walk my westie?

Hi all, my name is Andrea and I'm new in Qatar and just imported my dog here. She is 1 year old - West Highland White Terrier with pedigree, we went to many dog shows and were successful. Her name is Leila Al Moktar, but I call her Meggie. Our life has changed by moving here and I feel sorry for my dog because don't know where to walk her, she just sleeps, plays home or go out with me for 15 min or so. The problem is that the compound we stay at has only small green area and it is a kid's playground so we officially shouldn't enter there and there's just a desert ouside of the compound. Another problem is that Qatar Airways Cargo lost my suitcase with her stuff so we even don't have dog-lead, brush, comb, shampoo, her bed etc. We used to go every day for a walk to forest in my country and I took my dog to work so she likes travelling in car. I hated when she had to travel here through cargo and wonder who's responsible for such a regulation! Also she is very friendly dog and used to meet many people every day but since we are here she doesn't have contact with other people plus as I assumed, they are not very keen of dogs here.
Please, can anybody answer following questions? Are there any nice places for walking the dog? Where can I get quality dog food and accesories, combs, collars, leads, shampoo and other pet care products? Is anybody here in Doha who has a westie too? Are there dog shows in gulf countries? Thanks all who will answer. I love dogs, cats and generally all animals, I am glad there are some nice people here who care about them.
