Al Wakrah Trip

After our fishing trips that the group goes with every time, here comes the trip report trying to share some of those moments with all of you. What I like about those fishing trips the most is all of the guys in the group are understandable and very nice people. You feel that we’ve been doing that all of the time and not for 3 times only so far. Hopefully we would be having more of those especially when the weather gets better, that would make it easier and we can even go in the middle of the day or night. Starting fire and sitting around telling stories or grilling some fishes if we were lucky enough to catch some.

First of all I would like to thank ‘Just me118’ for the nice and cheerful spirit. I’m sorry man because you were lost between the forums and threads and could not reach this one in time. Lucky the guys that you offered the coffee and the muffin, if I knew that you would be coming with those I would’ve wait for you at the entrance to ‘Al Wakrah’ with a big white flag saying: ‘Over here, QL fishermen group’. Next time we will make sure that everyone would be updated and got the full details.

Could not sleep that night, having a lot in my mind that keeps me awake slept some how for one hour woke up to make some ‘Fooul’ for breakfast and prepared my stuff, picked up my friend on my way to ‘Al-Wakrah’ and were there before 4:00 looking for someone who got bread so we can have the breakfast with the guys. Finally we got the fresh bread from a big bakery which was hidden in the dark and enjoyed the hot bread with nothing early in the morning.

We arrived there and start fishing; the weather was great early in the morning and we caught some small and good ones. Took some of the small ones and put it into another big lines and the first ‘Sword Fish’ came out of the water jumping up and down. :)

At 5:30 Kelly gave me a call and we met him, started our meeting with a cup of coffee from this professional coffee maker. A cup of coffee that would refresh both your body and soul and let you say to the world: ’Good Morning World’ here i'm this is me. Kelly got the ‘Hamour’ as his specialty and catch two small ‘Hamours’ and went down to swim and got those because they always get trapped in the rockets trying to run, but from whom? :)

I tried to have breakfast later, the guys won’t eat so I ate half of the dish alone and waited for DaRuDe until he came and … dude, want to eat something? Give it to me I will eat it later & he took the dish and put it in his car :). I felt that I had enough fishing so I went to the other side, take my clothes off and it’s time to swim for a while .. Get some refreshment and let your body speak to the water. Later me and my friend [Yasar] joined Kelly for some Croissant & Tea. DaRuDe was going by the car for a ride; his friend Russi was there catching fish and was fasting as well as he did not eat anything.

DaRuDe and me left at 8:30 after greeting Kelly, wishing him good luck because he felt that he needs to spend more time on the beach. Here are two photos to the small catch that we got this Friday. It was nice and fun like always to see the guys there, looking forward to have those kind of trips more and more.

Announcement:
Me & Kelly are going to change our nicknames here on QL. Me would change it to 'King Sword Fish' and Kelly would make it 'Hamour Hero' :) [Just Kidding]

Best Regards
