Expired Visa. What to do?

Hello. I have some questions. I hope that you can help me with this one.

I am currently on a 3 month Working Visa. My visa will expire soon. My new employer hasnt transferred my visa to their company. Whenever Im asking regarding the visa, they just keep on saying that it is already in the labour department for approval (its almost a month now). Now my questions are:

1.What if my visa will expire and still not transferred to my present employer. What will happen?

2. Is it true that it will not be transferred to my new employer once my visa is expired?
