tampered odometer
Through qatar living, I bought the vehicle 2006 model pajero at 85,500 KM last week from the owner name "MR.ADIL" he guy told that he is working in Qatar Airways and leaving the country soon... As I check the vehicle in mitsubishi center, i found out the the recorded odometer reading of vehicle's last service was 184,000 km last september 2013. THE ODOMETER WAS TAMPERED! with our innocence we have been cheated. Hope this will not happen again.
had an unintended captured photo of the guy, the mobile no. that he used (which is not reachable now) and copy of mitsubishi record. Thinking to send these informations to authorities.

My friend had a same experience , He complained to police and at the end he got his money back with all other charges also . The procedure was long but at the end he got justice and his money back .
These people needs to be caught and deported, criminals! Low lifes amongst the people who work hard for their money in Qatar. Go to the authorities and report him.
you should go ahead and report to the authorities or police immediately because if they can find any realted person it may help in catching him
There have been other people who have posted similar experiences earlier in QL earlier. As such, the reading on the odometer has now become a doubtful figure to tell you how many kilometers a vehicle has done. It must have been a painful experience for you but then just gulp it down now with a glass of water.
