Police asking for QID

Hi. I was sitting with a friend earlier inside his car in a parking lot and some police stopped by to ask for our QIDs.

It's the first time that such thing happened to me so I was really nervous, not that we were doing something wrong inside the car. The police returned our QID's afterwards, should I be worried about this?

Sorry it's just my paranoia attacking and my mind can't really stop thinking of worst scenarios. Will I be held in any grounds?
