Visit Visa to Family Residence Visa/or RP (with different sponsorships)

It's nice to find a Qatar Living Forum which is so really very helpful especially to all expats who are in need of assistance.  I just wanna share my present case to you guys.

My father-in-law here in Qatar was applied and got an approval for a visit visa for my wife and my son under to his sponsorship and they can come starting from February 2014.

I came here since January 3, 2014 but since I don't have a QID yet, I just let my father-in-law to do that for them first.

My question is, can I also apply and obtain for a Family Residence Visa/or RP for them without exiting Qatar since they are under my father-in-law's sponsorship when entering Qatar within the validity period of their visit visa?

I have read so many forum discussions about the requirements and one of the requirement that I most concerned about is Bank Statement in last 6 months. Is it really a mandatory for Family Residence Visa/or RP application?

Any further alternative to this? I am worried that I may get disapproval. Hope you can help me guys. Thanks!

Hi everybody,

I applied for a job position in a Qatar school and was accepted..I sent the contract and filled my employment approval form and forward it back to the school HR manager..recently i received my letter of invitation from the HR manager of the school asking me to contact DALMA IMMIGRATION SERVICES QATAR for the full procurement of my traveling documents to Qatar.

is this the right way to get my visa and permit residence...please note that i am in constant contact with the person since ai applied for the job in a reliable and well known website

please advise

Thanks guys. How about a Family Visit Visa, how long Immigration is giving and what are the requirements applying for this?

I strongly feel, and as mentioned earlier too, that there is a need for someone to write down a book or may be a website dedicated on the process for various scenarios on visa requirements, DL, entry/exit etc etc so that neither do the people in need nor does the authorities get troubled by going back and forth. Would also save lot of time wasted otherwise which can be put to productive use.

Bank statement for 6 months is a must plus salary should be more than 10K along the rental house/flat agreement.( along with other documents of course). They need not to go out later once you will try to put them under your sponsorship, you just need to pay 500QAR to exempt them from in/out process. But all depends on whether they will approve you RP for them. You never know here. But whenever you visit immigration dept, dont expect the things to be done in 1 trip, you have to come and go , come and go but eventually your matter will be solved if you provide them all necessary documents and you fulfill the required criteria.
